A satirical reflection by Author/Artist Phil Fehrenbacher
Phil enlisted in the Army in 1965 where you served for years in Vietnam. He became a graphic designer and has worked for the state of Oregon for 26 years. He retired in 2003 and started the Cartoon "In-Country". The cartoons reflect his experiences during his tour of duty in South Vietnam.

-The Auxiliary will be selling baked goods at the Mars Applefest held on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2024.We are asking for donations of baked good to help with our sale. Baked good can be dropped of at the VFW during normal business hours from Monday, Sept. 30 through Friday October 4. We will be packaging up baked goods to sell beginning at noon on Friday, October 4.-Beginning on Sunday, September 15, the Auxiliary will be selling tickets for a Halloween Booze Basket in the bar. Tickets cost 3 for $5. The winner will be drawn during the club Halloween Party. Ticket sales will benefit the Auxiliary and the Canteen Fund.-The Auxiliary is collect pop/beer tabs. There will be a collection box in the bar. Please bring tabs in ziplock bags. The collection of tabs supports the Ronald McDonald House.
